Ovid (Journals at Ovid)

You can create links to many fulltext articles that you find in the Your Journals@Ovid section of Ovid.

  1. When you find an article you want to link, click on either "Abstract" or "Complete Reference" and note the accession number at the top of the screen.
  2. Using your keyboard and/or mouse, copy the accession number into a new Notepad file. It will look something like 00007670-200401000-00041
  3. Again, using your keyboard and/or mouse, paste the accession number after https://www.library.tufts.edu/ezproxy/ezproxy.asp?LOCATION=ovid&ISSUE=
making sure not to add any spaces, hard breaks, or returns. Your finished link will look like: https://www.library.tufts.edu/ezproxy/ezproxy.asp?LOCATION=ovid&ISSUE=00007670-
    200401000-00041

  4. If you want to link to the table of contents of a fulltext journal, paste only the beginning of the accession number, in this case, 00007670, after

Science

What is DOI?

There are two methods of building links to the journal science, depending on when your article was published.

If your article was published between 1800-2001, you can access back issues of science through JSTOR

  1. Use the Stable URL on the table of contents page. JSTOR links look like this:
    http://links.jstor.org/sici?sici=0036-8075%2819660812%293%3A153%3A37
    37%3C699%3ATDOTSV%3E2.0.CO%3B2-T
  2. Add the proxy prefix
    https://www.library.tufts.edu/ezproxy/ezproxy.asp?LOCATION=
The final link will look like:
    https://www.library.tufts.edu/ezproxy/ezproxy.asp?LOCATION=http://links.jstor.org/sici?
    sici=0036-8075%2819660812%293%3A153%3A3737%3C699%3ATDOTSV%3E2.0.
    CO%3B2-T

If your article was published recently, you can access articles from AAAS Online . Make sure to access AAAS Online through the library website, or you will not have access to the full content.

  1. Articles in Science Online allow you to create links using a DOI. To find the DOI look at the article summary or the html full text of the article
To create a URL from the DOI append it to the address:
    http://dx.doi.org/

For the DOI "10.1126/science.1089837", the subsequent URL would be:
    http://dx.doi.org/10.1126/science.1089837
  2. Add the proxy prefix
    https://www.library.tufts.edu/ezproxy/ezproxy.asp?LOCATION=
The final link will look like:
