The third annual Maxine Newberg Gordon Book Prize was awarded to Carolyn Abbott (center) by Jo-Ann Michalak, Director of Tisch Library (left) and Christoph Börgers (right), Chair of the Mathematics Department. Carolyn selected the two-volume book set entitled "The Tale of Gengi" as her prize.

Gregory Maguire used a puppet of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West’s real name, as one of his many props during his Authors Talk.

The audience found Gregory Maguire’s reading and discussion of Mirror Mirror very interesting.
