Need materials that are not available at Tufts? Ginn Library provides two services to faculty, students and staff for requesting books or articles from other libraries: ILLiad and the BLC Catalog. The BLC Catalog includes the member libraries of the Boston Library Consortium, ILLiad can be used to get materials from libraries across the United States and beyond.
Students, faculty and staff may use the BLC Catalog to find and request books or articles that are unavailable at any of the Tufts University Libraries. Typically, books requested via the BLC Catalog arrive within 7 business days of submitting the request.

Students, faculty and staff may use ILLiad to request books or journal articles not available at any of the Tufts libraries. ILLiad books typically take between 1 - 3 weeks for delivery, and articles typically arrive within 1 week of request. Please allow additional time for rare or hard to find materials. Please note: The borrowing period for these items is 28 days from the receipt of book with a 14 day renewal option.
