China Dimensions A variety of socioeconomic data including Geographic Information System databases that cover the administrative regions of China.
Digital Asia Library Annotated links to electronic resources, searchable by keyword and browsable by subject. It is a cooperative venture of The Ohio State University Libraries, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Libraries, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Libraries.

Latin American Network Information Center (LANIC) From the University of Texas at Austin. This is an exhaustive database which is broken down into three sections: country links, broad subject links, miscellaneous useful links. There is a searchable index and a search engine.
Political Database of the Americas A joint project of the OAS, Georgetown University and the Canadian Foundation for the Americas. There are links to constitutional, legal and political data for countries of North, Central and South America as well as for the Caribbean area.

Center for Middle Eastern Studies, University of Texas at Austin. An encyclopedic database which is divided into three parts: country links, Subject categories and miscellaneous additional useful links. The subject categories include, history, culture, religion, economics, finance, business, energy, news and regional information. there is a search engine.
Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA)
Middle East Studies Internet Resources From Columbia University. A large database arranged by region, country and subject. "The scope of the collection is research -oriented, but it also provides access to other gopher and web sites with different or broader missions."
