SETTING UP WEBFEED ALERTS
How to set up Bloglines, a popular and free aggregator:
| 1. Click "Sign up now" and follow the registration process to set a log-in and password. Once logged-in, click the tab labelled My Feeds. |

2. Add your own feeds. First click "My Feeds" and then the Add link just below. You can then paste the feed link into the box and subscribe. Once you have added some feeds in folders -- the folders show up in the left pane, the feeds within the folders in the right pane. To see the seven items in the Ginn Weblog, you would click the Expand link. |

3. You can find webfeeds in many places. You may have noticed graphics like this:
You can right click on any of these and choose "Copy link location" or "Copy shortcut". Then paste the copied link into the box and click Subscribe. Bloglines will give a choice of which folder to put the feed in, or allow you to create a new folder to put it in. Once you have subscribed to some feeds, the latest news from those sites will be available to you any time you log into Bloglines. |
