A note about cost and retina display:

$1200 13.3-inch to $1800 15-inch.  

While MacBook Pro with Retina display has higher resolution, has solid-state drive as standard, it lacks a built-in CD/DVD drive (8x SuperDrive) and is significantly more expensive: $1500 - $2800.  Please see Apple for more information.
