About the Boston Library
Consortium
The Tufts University Hirsh Health Sciences Library is a
member of the the Boston Library
Consortium, a cooperative association of nineteen academic
and research libraries. The Consortium supports resource sharing
and enhancement of services to users through programs in cooperative
collecting, access to electronic resources, access to physical
collections, and enhanced interlibrary loan and document delivery.
Use the Virtual
Catalog to simultaneously search many BLC library catalogs,
request books and audio visual materials that are unavailable
at any of the Tufts University libraries, and pick up and
return materials at your campus library. To request journal
articles, please use ILLiad.
