    Containing records from 40 patent-issuing authorities (back to 1963 for some), this ISI version links to subsequent patents & retrospectively to cited patents. Under "Searchable Database Products".
  • LexisNexis Academic
    Select Legal Research & scroll down to Patents, where you can search U.S. patents by keywords, patent numbers or classification numbers. The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office's Manual of Classification, which is keyword searchable, provides classification numbers for enhanced searching.
  • Office for Technoloogy Licensing & Industry Collaboration
    University policies regarding intellectual property and confict of interest, staff contacts for licensing issues, and useful links are posted here. Search its database of technologies from Tufts and Tufts Medical Center by keyword or browse by categories such as healthcare and various diseases. See an article in Tufts Journal for recent patents.
  • Scopus
    Patents are displayed separately via a blue tab at the top of the results list. Patents from the USPTO (1836+, full text 1983+), European Patent Office (1978+, full text 1991+), Japanese Patent Office (machine-translated abstracts 1976+), and World Intellectual Property Organization (full text 1978+) are indexed by its web search engine, Scirus, which indexes the bibliographic information (1970+), full text (when available), title, authors and assignee, affiliations (e.g. Tufts), patent number, as well as the first published date.
  • U.S. Patents
    Community of Science's database covers U.S. patents issued since 1975. It allows Boolean searching by number, date, inventor, title, abstract, state, country or classification. Hover over Other Reference Databases and select it from the drop-down menu.
