Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research     [Indexes and Abstracts]

ICPSR provides access to an archive of social science data for research and instruction. Data files are raw data, not in report format, and are used with statistical software, such as SAS, SPSS, and Stata. National Hospital Discharge and Ambulatory Surgery Data  1990   [Indexes and Abstracts]

Conducted annually since 1965, the survey provides information on characteristics of inpatients discharged from non-Federal short-stay hospitals in the US. OECD iLibrary     [Indexes and Abstracts]

SourceOECD provides online access to Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) resources, covering trade, environment, agriculture, technololgy, economic development, and more. The books, reports, working papers and periodicals are full-text and the databases have extensive statistical information.

Physician Data Query (PDQ)     [Web Sites]

Contains summaries on a wide range of cancer topics; a registry of 8,000+ open and 19,000+ closed cancer clinical trials from around the world; and a directory of professionals who provide genetics services. PDQ also contains the NCI Dictionary of Cancer Terms, and the NCI Drug Dictionary, which has information on 2,300+ agents used in the treatment of cancer or cancer-related conditions.

ProQuest Statistical Insight and Statistical Datasets     [Indexes and Abstracts]

Statistical Insight allows users to search summaries of statistical publications, then link to the full-text of selected publications. It includes U.S. statistical abstracts from 1878 - 2012. Statistical DataSets is a web-based tool that allows you to create easy-to-export charts, tables, and graphs from several million different data points. Data sources include government information like census data, as well as licensed data sets.

Vital Statistics on American Politics     [e-book]

Covers a wide range of topics: elections, Congress, the presidency, and the judiciary, information on the media, campaign finances; foreign, social, and economic policy; and a variety of issues related to state and local government.
