Eighth Annual Berger Family Technology
Award
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Medford, MA, March 7, 2005-
The eighth annual grant from the Tufts University Berger Family Technology Transfer
Endowment has been awarded to Oral Histories in the Tufts Digital Library submitted
by Christopher Barbour, Tisch Library; David Guss, Department of Anthropology;
David Locke, Department of Music; Deborah Pacini, Department of Anthropology;
Laurie Sabol, Tisch Library; Anne Sauer, Digital Collections and Archives; and
Jeff Summit, Judaic Studies. This project will pursue research and development
on the creation, management, and delivery of oral history recordings and transcripts
in the Tufts Digital Library.
The Berger Family has been a generous donor to Tufts University.
Over the years they have contributed to the renovation of Tisch
Library and established an endowed professorship in the College
of Engineering. Members of the Berger Family Technology Transfer
Endowment Advisory board are: Fredric S. Berger, P.E., Senior Vice President, Inc. in Washington, DC; Dr. Amy Friedlander,
