Can I access e-mail in the library?
Yes, eight computers located at the bottom of the main stairwell on Level 1, are reserved specifically for e-mail access. Computers located in the reference area are reserved for research. Please do not use these computers for e-mail access.
Are word processing and other office functions available in the library?
No, the computers located in the library do not offer word processing functionality. The Eaton Lab, located next to Tisch, offers these applications (PC & Mac).
Can I bring my disk in and print off my paper in the library using Microsoft Word?
Yes, you can print your document, but you cannot make any changes to it because the public computers have read-only capability in Microsoft Word.
Is wireless computing available in the library?
Wireless computing is available only to members of the Tufts community. Click here for details.
Can I bring my laptop in and hook up to the internet?
Yes, but only members of the Tufts community can connect to the internet. Tisch Library is connected to the Tufts campus network and may be used to access the internet with laptop computers in areas where network ports have been activated.
