Links located on the right of every Tisch webpage or visit
Administrative Services on the main floor of the library
for paper postings.
Are phones available in the library?
Yes, public pay telephones are located in the hallway
to the left of the Tisch Library entrance as you enter the
building on level 2 and directly beneath this same location
on level 1.
A campus-only telephone is located in the hallway leading
to the Administrative Offices of the library to the right
of the Tisch Library entrance as you enter the building.
A campus-only emergency telephone is located outside
Tisch Library to the left as you enter the building,
near the bust of Jean Mayer.
Please limit your use of cell phones in the library
to areas immediately adjacent to the public pay telephones.
Out of respect for library users, please do not use
cell phones in any other area of the library.
How can I find out what specific library terms mean?
Tisch Library staff have developed a glossary
to assist with library nomenclature.
Can I watch a video/dvd in the library?
Yes, the Media Center is located on level 3 of the library.
The center provides screening facilities with various capabilities.
Individual media carrels may be used on a walk-in basis.
How can I suggest that the library purchase a specific
item?

I plan on visiting Tisch library. Where can I park?
A limited number of metered spaces are available on Latin
Way across from the library. Some additional spaces are
available on Packard Avenue and in Visitor Parking. To reach
the Visitor Parking area, continue up Packard Avenue beyond
Professors Row and turn right at the top of the hill. There
is also a new Parking Garage in Dowling Hall located at

Can I enter Tisch Library if I am not a student at
Tufts?
Yes. Tisch Library maintains a walk-in policy. You
do not need a Tufts ID to enter the library.
