Printing
Printing of library resources is available at the cost of $.10
a page. Library printers use the same cards
as the library copiers. Cards may be purchased for $1.00 from
card dispensers located in the copier room adjacent to the
reserve desk on level 2 of Tisch Library. The $1.00 cards
provide 6 copies; a one time manufacturing cost of $.40 is
passed on to the user. However, copy cards may be reused by
adding more to the cards at the card dispensers, and at copiers
that accept currency. Large denomination copy cards from $10
to $100 can be purchased by cash, check or interdepartmental
requisition (IDR) at Administrative Services, Monday
- Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM.
You may use your Tufts ID to make copies and print at the public machines in Tisch and Ginn Libraries and the Eaton Computer Lab. You can do this if you have value on the vending strip (the same way you use your ID to pay for laundry and sodas). Value can be added to your ID card by using cash in increments of $5, $10 or $20, or transfer points from your Points Plus Account to your vending stripe. Please go to the Dining Services website for how to add value to your card. Students who prefer not to use their IDs to copy and print can still purchase a copy card at the library.
Discs are also available for one dollar at Administrative
Services. In lieu of printing, users can download materials
to disc or e-mail the material to themselves. |
