Jumbo-laya : Saving the SUNO Library (Posted: May 4, 2006)
An exhibit entitled "Jumbo-laya : Saving the SUNO Library" has been prepared by the Tufts-SUNO Task force in order to commemorate Tisch Library's participation in the American Library Association's Adopt a Library Program. This program matched institutions devastated by Hurricane Katrina with other institutions across the country. Tisch Library raised funds by celebrating Mardi Gras in the library, and when the streets were cleaned on Ash Wednesday, the Tufts Community raised $1000 to help our partner, Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO).
