Two New Exhibits in Tisch Lobby (Posted: June 22, 2006)
Two new exhibits have gone up in the Tisch Lobby:
Summer at Tufts
See articles on the first summer school held at Tufts, check out some current and past catalogs generously lent to us from the Summer Session Office, and gaze at the images of the beautiful scenery in Tailloires, France. What better time than now to showcase all that Tufts has to offer in the summer time?! Thanks to Susanne Belovari and her staff in Archives for their assistance!
Partnership: Key to Technical Services Workflow
To provide materials in the fastest and most efficient manner, the technical services staff have formed close partnerships with important outside groups. Staff coordinates closely with book vendors, catalog providers, and the catalog software service people--and student employees are an important part of the process! Tisch technical service staff made a presentation at a recent national convention of libraries that use the same catalog software, demonstrating how our workflow runs faster and smoother when working in partnerships. An exhibit in the lobby of Tisch Library shows highlights from that poster presentation and the importance of our student employees to library technical services work.
