Using Wireless Devices in Tisch

Library users who bring their own wireless devices to the library have the following options:

Tufts students, faculty, and staff:

The following pertains to anyone with a valid Tufts UTLN email and password. Access to the wireless network is enabled by selecting the Tufts Wireless access point in your device's wireless settings. See https://student.support.tufts.edu/network_registrations.

Alumni, parents, and others:

Access to the wireless network is provided on a short-term basis by registering online as a guest. Guests can register for accounts that can last 7 days. See https://student.support.tufts.edu/network_registrations to sign up or get more information.

Alternatives to wireless use for internet access:

All users may use any available public access PCs which are available in the library; these PCs all have internet access. See http://www.library.tufts.edu/tisch/computing.htm
Tufts students who are enrolled in a degree program at Tufts University may check out laptops with wireless connections from the Tisch Library Circulation Desk. See http://www.library.tufts.edu/tisch/laptopLending.html

Printing from Wireless

To print in Tisch library from your laptop, you must install print drivers for the library's public printers. Instructions and downloadable driver files are available at http://ase.tufts.edu/its/labPrinting.htm
