Electronic Selective - "Evaluation of Veterinary Literature"Evaluation of the Literature in Veterinary Medicine The "electronic" component of Evaluation of the Literature in Veterinary Medicine selective offered through the Webster Family Veterinary Library was conceived to reduce contact time spent in library instruction sessions, to expand the topics covered to include basic information literacy and to enhance learning by preparing students for each session. It is recognized that students have very little time to devote to such topics, but it also recognized that learning these skills are an important part of the education process and will contribute to the ability of the students to be effective "life-long learners". There are many topics covered in this Selective but the emphasis is developing the skills necessary to access, critically appraise and incorporate veterinary literature into problem solving clinical cases.
